Personal | Blog about Prague: Day 4

We've arrived at the final day in Prague. On the last day we didn't do much. We just walked around on the Wenceslas Square and checked out some of the shops there. Sadly, it wasn't very interesting...

We did however discover this gem. While walking past a book shop, I took a look at the window display and noticed something. All the female authors had -ová added to their name, so Rowling became Rowlingová, Meyer became Meyerová, Roberts became Robertsová, etc... The names of the male authors remained the same though.

Before going to the hotel to pick up our bags, we passed the market to buy our last lemonade. Bitter sweet goodbye. ;) I had Tropical Fruit. We also each bought potato chips on a stick at a stand and Céline bought a spiral almond pastry.

As you can probably tell by the light in the photos, the weather started getting a little chilly during the day and by the time we had to leave for the airport, we ended up in a full-blown storm: rain, hail, thunder, lighting, strong winds,... For a while I worried that our flight would be cancelled but luckily it wasn't.

As nice as the flight to Prague had been, that's as bad as the flight back home was. The flight attendants were rude and the service was just terrible. And to say we'd had to pay more for the flight back... I was feeling pretty ripped off.

All the sad bags that get left at the airport...

I hope you liked this little look into my trip to Prague. If you want to know more about Céline, you can check out her blog here.

Lots of ♥,
Laure

PS Lucy (Lucy's Stash) also went to the Czech Republic! You can find her blog post about it here.
